This project involved a comprehensive renovation of the roof, gutters, and windows of a residential property. The goal was to improve the functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal of these essential components of the home.
For the windows, the Advanced Windows Corp 6300 series was installed. These double-hung windows featured grids and were equipped with LowE glass filled with argon. The white aluminum exterior trim enhanced the overall appearance of the windows while providing a low-maintenance solution.
In terms of the roof, several key upgrades were made. Partial plywood replacement was done to ensure a solid and stable roofing structure. Additionally, a new ice and water barrier and synthetic felt were installed to provide superior protection against moisture. A continuous ridge vent was added to enhance ventilation and improve energy efficiency. High-quality GAF Timberline HDZ Black sable shingles were used for the roof, ensuring both durability and an attractive aesthetic.
To address issues with water drainage, new seamless 5-inch aluminum gutters were installed. These gutters were equipped with leaf guards to prevent clogging and minimize maintenance requirements. Additionally, oversize 3x4-inch gutters were used to accommodate a higher volume of water flow, providing effective water management during heavy rainfall.
Overall, this project aimed to enhance the functionality, durability, and visual appeal of the roof, gutters, and windows. By utilizing high-quality materials and implementing proper installation techniques, the renovated components provided long-lasting performance and contributed to the overall value of the property.
